R.I.P. South Region High School 14

Below is a letter I received in the mail on December 7, 2007.

It looks like the proposed South Region High School 14 has gone "buh-bye", at least for quite some time.

I hope to receive a similar letter concerning South Region High School 15 in the near future. There is a meeting scheduled for December 10, 2007, beginning at 6:00 PM at San Pedro High School's auditorium concerning SRHS 15. If we are lucky, the meeting will either be cancelled, or it will be very short!

It looks like everybody wins, except for the few folks living in Lomita who want a L.A.U.S.D. high school in their city. Maybe the far future holds hope for those folks, but I doubt if any of us should hold our breath.
